FAQ

In the framework of the 4th call for proposals we have also updated the section dedicated to the FAQ’s.
These necessarily cannot address the whole variety of topics that characterize the project’s management. However, they provide the background (regulatory framework and procedures coming from day-to-day experience) necessary to understand whether a project and its actions are in line with the programme’s main scopes.
The FAQs concern mainly ERDF related management issues, but also useful hints for applicants coming from Non-Member States are included. These applicants should in any case refer to the respective contracting authorities or to the CCPs of their countries.
Please find the following sections:

• INTERREG and CADSES  with information on the programme, its position within the framework of Community’s priorities, the Neighbourhood approach;
• PRINCIPLES: basic principles that govern a project in CADSES: composition of the partnership, territoriality, additionality, lead partner, duration…
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT : issues concerning the correct management of the project and related to its essential elements such as the budget, the basics in projects’s bookkeeping, information on some cost items;
• ELIGIBILITY : some important information on a key concept for the good management of a project
• IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS : details on a sometimes tricky issue
• CHECKS OF PROJECTS:  information about 1st and 2nd level control;
• REPORTING:  this section covers the crucial point of reporting, especially with respect to the recent launch of a new reporting tool for the CADSES programme.
• EXTERNAL FUNDING 

In the very near future we will also upload guidance notes on transnational common activities and on small- scale investments.
