A
Action
Action means a group of activities, components and means forming a functional unit (e.g. organisation and delivery of a workshop; setting up a project office, etc.). The typical budget per Action should be around EUR 100,000 for 3rd and 4th call project and EUR 50,000 for 2nd call projects. Actions that exceed this limit significantly, must be split up into accordingly sized Actions. This applies also to pilot projects. They have to be depicted in the very same manner as all other Actions.
Activity Report
Part of the Progress Report containing mainly descriptions of activities carried out during a specific period of the project’s implementation.
Application Form (also Application) (AF)
Main document for the project applicants, containing all necessary information about the submitted project. The Application Form consists out of the description of content orientated and financial data as well as the submitted Co-Financing Statements. The Application Form usually consists of a Part 1 (in *.doc-format) designed for describing the content, objectives activities and results of the project and a Part 2 (in *.xls – format) indicating the financial framework of the project.
The Application Form is the basic document for the assessment carried out by the Joint Technical Secretariat and the CADSES Contact Points (see also assessment).
Application Package
Pack of documents, which each project applicant has to download from the website when he wishes to apply within CADSES. This pack contains all necessary forms to be filled in, plus a manual giving detailed guidance on how to fill in the forms. The Application Package will be published at the very latest on the opening date of a call on the CADSES website (www.cadses.net).
Assessment
Part of the selection procedure in CADSES, starting with the registration of submitted applications, completeness check, check for minimum requirements, detailed evaluation and recommendation for approval / rejection. The decision on the approval or rejection of projects is taken by the transnational Steering Committee.
