ERDF

Among the four types of Structural Fund that have been introduced over the years, as the process of building Europe has progressed, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) contributes mainly to assisting the regions whose development is lagging behind and those undergoing economic conversion or experiencing structural difficulties.
 
In the framework of the CADSES Neighbourhood programme, the Project Partners located in the nine member states belonging to the programme cooperation area can count on the ERDF co-financing according to the following rates.
 
The ERDF co-financing rate is 75% in Objective 1 areas,
  • Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia (whole country)
  • Czech Republic (except Prague district)
  • Slovakia (except Bratislava district)
  • In Germany, the regions Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg, Thüringen, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt
 
The ERDF co-financing rate is 50% in the following areas,
  • Italy (eligible regions according to the CADSES programme)
  • Austria (the whole country)
  • In Germany, the regions Berlin, Bayern and Baden Württemberg
  • In the Czech Republic, the district of Prague
  • In Slovakia, the district of Bratislava
